BACONFEST

Wendy’s has the best bacon in the biz, so we decided to celebrate the hot and crispy good stuff in all its glory. Thus Baconfest was born: an all out, month long bacon bonanza, complete with a sizzlin’ hot concert inside an actual Wendy’s.

BACONCERT FEAT. HAR MAR SUPERSTAR

Every ‘fest needs live music, right? We partnered with Minneapolis icon (and Wendy’s bacon fanboy) Har Mar Superstar to put on the first ever official concert inside a Wendy’s. Passes sold out in minutes and over 2 million fans tuned in to the live stream on Twitter to get in on the sizzlin’ action. (And yes, he is in fact wearing a bacon tracksuit).

Pig latin Twitter Tease

To cook up some curiosity about our bacon celebration, we posted an open letter to bacon fans on Twitter. The twist: the whole thing was written in pig latin and the English version could only be unlocked through our website.

BACONFESt playable ad

We created a playable Facebook add that allowed viewers to swipe right on our eligible Wendy’s bacon bachelor and bachelorettes.
